Cycling fans standing in rows to cheer on their favourite, riders going full gas and hopefully a bright spring sunshine: the Tour of Flanders is not the high mass of the spring for no reason! From Antwerp to Oudenaarde, the unique atmosphere of Flanders' Finest will dominate and this year you can do so again in one of our fan zones!
A fan zone is the perfect place to follow the race closely. The riders pass right in front of you and you can follow the whole race on a big screen. Moreover, there are food and drink stands present so you will not be short of anything. Each fan zone is also equipped with the necessary sanitary facilities.
KOPPENBERG - 10.00-19.00
The Bult van Melden in the vernacular, but so much more than an ordinary hump. The dreaded Koppenberg is a slope that no one likes to tackle, as various witnesses from the peloton have confirmed. The ideal place to give the riders extra vocal support. And... New this year is that the women also take on the Koppenberg. So don't leave after the passage of the men, because the women can also use that extra bit of support!
OUDE KWAREMONT - 10.00-19.00
Everyone knows the Oude Kwaremont and everyone knows the importance of this slope in De Ronde. The men ride tackle this climb 3 times and the women 1 time. In other words, this fan zone is the place to be for a whole day of racing with a snack and drink!
PATERBERG - 10.00-19.00
Traditionally the last slope where Flanders' Finest breaks loose before heading for Oudenaarde. Thanks to the big screen and two sections for the men and one for the women, you won't have to miss a thing! Gather on the flanks of the steep hill and cheer on your favourites!
OLDENAARDE - 13.00-19.00
In 2022 the Tour of Flanders will celebrate its tenth anniversary in Oudenaarde and this year a fan zone will be set up near the finish line. Watch live from the front row who gets to raise their arms in the air on the Minderbroedersstraat. Afterwards, you get to celebrate with both winners during the podium ceremony.
Plan your visit to a fan zone using the information on our mobility page and check beforehand which shuttle bus you need to take to get there!
