Discover the programme and course for the Tour of Flanders Youth Day
On Sunday, May 24, Oudenaarde will once again be the beating heart of the Tour of Flanders Youth Day. During this fifth edition, four youth categories will compete for victory in their own version of Flanders’ Finest. Below, you’ll find more information about the course and the programme.
The course consists of several local laps, the number of which varies by category. The U17 and U19 categories, both Men and Women, will race through the Flemish Ardennes and tackle a series of iconic climbs and cobbled sectors. With the Achterberg and the Varent climbs, and the cobbles of the Karel Martelstraat and the Holleweg, there are plenty of demanding sections along the way. In the finale, the Wolvenberg will once again play a decisive role, just before the finish in the Hoogstraat.
Programme Oudenaarde
Those who want to experience the action up close should head to the Market Square in Oudenaarde, the epicentre of this Youth Day. From the team presentation of the Women U17 at 8:15 to the finish of the Men U19 at 19:06, there’s plenty of action to enjoy throughout the day. In between, you can enjoy the lively atmosphere on and around the Market Square, with a bite to eat or a drink. Discover the full programme below:
