This Sunday, the Tour of Flanders Youth Day is on the schedule. More than 500 promising riders will line up in the heart of Oudenaarde. From the defending champion in the Men U19 race to the daughter of a former world champion in the Women U19 race: discover the participants here.

Women U17

The Women U17 race kicks off at 9:00. Charlesworth (Fibrax Fenwicks Wrexham Cycling Club) claimed victory in Ypres two weeks ago and will again be aiming for a strong result on Sunday. Temar (Svealand Cyclingteam) and Huybrechts (CRABBÉ-DSTNY) have already impressed several times this season and will be looking to shine at the Tour of Flanders Women U17.

Men U17

A strong and promising field lines up for the Tour of Flanders Men U17. Peers (Crabbé-DSTNY) will be eager to taste victory again after his win in the In Flanders Fields Men U17. Vancom (Velo Club Ardennes) and Dooms (Wielerclub “Onder Ons Parike” VZW) have also delivered strong results this season and will look to continue that form on Sunday. Keep an eye as well on the duo Loose - Van Bulck (Avia-Rudyco Cycling Team) and Deprée (Crabbé-DSTNY), who could well spring a surprise.

Women U19

Meeusen (NXTG Racing U19) will be looking to prove herself in a higher category after finishing second in the U17 ranks last year. With a victory, she could become the first Belgian winner of the Tour of Flanders Women U19 race. Baud (Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes) and Knox (Airtox – Carl Ras) have already secured podium finishes and will be aiming for more this year. Bieberle (Airtox – Carl Ras) will look to confirm her strong form and deliver another solid result. Keep an eye as well on Ballan (Breganze Millenium), the daughter of former world champion Alessandro Ballan.

Men U19

The Men U19 race brings the Tour of Flanders Youth Day to a close. Birkedal (Red Bull – Bora – Hansgrohe Rookies) will be aiming to defend his title. Vervoort (R EV Cycling Team) and Joris (Acrog-Tormans), both former U17 winners, will also be on the start line and eager to prove themselves again. After his victory in the In Flanders Fields Men U19, Novolodskii (Cannibal B Victorious) will start Sunday’s race with confidence. Belgian riders Messely (Soudal Quick-Step U19) and Keppens (Jegg – Skil – DJR) are also names to watch.
