Ten years later, it was again a victory for Van Vleuten. The former European champion made the difference on the Paterberg and arrived solo in Oudenaarde.

Twelve years after Grace Verbeke, Lotte Kopecky crowned herself the second Belgian winner of Tour of Flanders in 2022. She beat Dutch rider Annemiek van Vleuten in a sprint with the two of them.
