Safety first with new partner Boplan

You may have noticed the yellow Boplan Race Barriers and Race Totems at previous races. Flanders Classics is joining forces with Boplan to make the beautiful, yet sometimes dangerous cycling a lot safer. The Boplan "Race Totems" offer extra protection at points where it is needed, while their "Race Barriers", nadars of modified plastic, are used in the last straight line before the finish. This protects the riders at one of the most critical moments of the race. 

But not only the riders have a reduced risk of serious injury thanks to Boplan's safe solutions, also the spectators will be able to stand a lot safer at the finish line once that is allowed again. Gent-Wevelgem and Dwars door Vlaanderen already proved to be a success. On to more of that!
