Tour of Flanders youth day: what's on the menu?

20 May 2022

On 22 May, the time has come. Then there will be racing again in and around Oudenaarde. The Sunday menu features no less than three times the Tour of Flanders for young people. After two years of silence, the Tour of Flanders for youth is being revived. The brand new concept will make it a real youth day this year! Not only the U17 and U19 Men will try to win, but also the U17 and U19 Women will show what they can do on the roads of Oudenaarde.

The last time we welcomed the youth on the roads of the Tour of Flanders was in 2019. Denmark took the first prize in the U19 Men's race. William Blume Levy won ahead of his compatriot Tobias Lund Andresen.

As mentioned earlier, there will be three races, one race for both the U17 and U19 Women, one race for the U17 Men and one race for the U19 Men. What is at stake? One of these trophies and winning in Vlaanderens Mooiste!

We kick off the day with the U17 Men. They will start at 10:00 on the Markt in Oudenaarde, followed by the Women Juniors at 12:30. The Women Newcomers join the Women Juniors in the race at 12.57 pm. The day ends with the U19 Men who start their race around 15h45.
