25 years of 'Balls and Glory'

The Lotto cycling team just ended its 25th season in a row. This event should not go by uncelebrated. In fact, not many sponsors survive that long in the cycling world. In addition, the Lotto cycling team became an important player in the international elite peloton. Two of the team’s cyclist provided the icing on the cake for Lotto. Cadel Evans won the world title and Philippe Gilbert obtained several victories.
From February 26th until October 3rd, the CRVV organises an exhibition with the juicy title '25 years of Balls and Glory', in which a wide overview of the last 25 years of the Lotto cycling team will be given.

65XMERCKX

Op 17 juni werd Eddy Merckx 65. Het CRVV en de Vriendenkring van de Flandriens spelen daarop in met een tentoonstelling waarin aan de hand van 65 objecten en documenten een apart licht op de Kannibaal wordt geworpen. Vooral het anekdotische en aparte aan de imposante Merckx-figuur komt aan bod. De voorwerpen variëren van een sinaasappelwikkel met Merckx-foto over drie biljartballen tot de afbeelding van het wapenschild en spreuk van baron Merckx. Te zien in de inkomhal vanaf zaterdag 22 mei tot 3 oktober. Gratis toegang.
